What’s Up with the Tournaments? 

Deer Valley Athletic Club prides itself on being a family friendly facility that caters to the different needs of the people in our community. If you consider yourself someone a bit more competitive, why not give one of our many tennis tournaments a shot! Tennis tournaments bring that competitive spirit to our club, allowing members to hone their skills with different challenges and challengers.

Parent/Child Tournament

This energetic tournament has been a DVAC fan favorite for years! Each tournament, kids and adults team up to climb the ladder until one ultimate ‘Parent-Child’ duo reigns supreme. No kid? No problem—our Junior Program has aspiring tennis stars ready to adopt you! Prefer to watch? Our very own DVAC ‘Rent-a-Parent’ tennis pros have you covered while your child shines on the court! 

USTA Junior Level 6 and 7 Tournaments

Did someone say, “6-7”? Sorry..moving on. Some other great tournaments that DVAC offers are USTA Junior Level 6 and 7 tournaments. Our Junior Program is happy to host these matches in order to keep building our future tennis stars skills. They are designed for players new to competitive play and those with some experience to gain match play in a low-stakes environment.

Ladies Cup

Looking to play women-only tennis? You won’t want to miss this one! This three-day event always comes ready to impress with catered dinner and breakfast from our very own DVAC kitchen. Every year there is a great theme — check out last years below! Each pair is randomly selected through a drawing, and you’ll be at the edge of your seat watching every match! Don’t miss out—sign up for the next tournament!

Men’s Pro-Am

Let’s talk about our Men’s Pro-Am tournament! Come join this highly anticipated tournament hosted every year! Same as the Ladies Cup, this three-day tournament comes with the same catered perks. Through random drawing — or what we like to call fate — a Pro (Professional) is paired up with an Am (Amateur) . Come watch and join these unlikely duos tear it up on the tennis court!

NEW 2026 Billie Howell Classic: A National Level 4 USTA Tournament for Adults 55+

We are so happy to announce that we are hosting a new tournament that honors the woman who created Deer Valley Athletic Club! This tournament is a part of the USTA Southern Senior Open – Level  4. What better way to celebrate the legacy of such an admirable woman than host a tournament in her own “backyard”! Stay tuned for more information!
